Can I forward my calls to other BudgetSip users?^ top

Yes you can - the callforwarding option in the client works with phone numbers, but you can also enter a (BudgetSip) user name.

How can BudgetSip keep their rates so low?^ top

We always try to offer the best prices possible and BudgetSip constantly aims to negotiate better deals with suppliers to pass this discount on to our customers! By buying in bulk from major carriers and using state of the art technology BudgetSip is able to significantly undercut other international call providers. In addition, low overheads and a no frills approach enable our customers to benefit even more.

Can I get BudgetSip in my favorite language?^ top

In the application, select "Tools" -> "Select Language". You can now choose from various popular languages.

How much does it cost for someone to ring my Voip-in number?^ top

This depends on where the other person is calling from and which telephone provider they use. The call should be charged at normal geographic rate (and if ringing from abroad a normal international call to your country) so the caller should check with their own telephone provider how much they charge for normal calls to landlines.

Can a company sign up?^ top

Yes. The payment conditions and how the service works is exactly the same as for residential customers.

"Fair use policy (FUP)" what does that mean?^ top

We offer calls to various destinations. If you use of our services in a normal way you will generally not be confronted with our Fair Use Policy; we reserve the right however to limit these calls if excessive or fraudulent use is suspected. Should you exceed our Fair Use Policy limit you will be charged normal rates for your calls. Please consult our terms of use for details.

How much will I be charged for my calls?^ top

Calls will be charged at the applicable tariff for the destination you are calling. Rates are in Eurocents per minute and calls are rounded up to next minute. Apart from that there are no other charges; no subscription, registration, or administration fees! If you make a phone-to-phone call you will be charged a 5 eurocent starting fee.

How long does my credit last for calls?^ top

The credit you have purchased will NOT expire.

What is the minimum topup amount^ top

We require a minimum Payment of EUR 2.00.00. No monthly payment required. Take your time to use this credit and top up again if you run out of credit.

How much credit can I give to my customers?^ top

You can allow as much credit as you want to your customers. BUT if there is no credit on your reseller account, your customers won't be able to call, no matter how much you have allocated them.

When do call charges take effect?^ top

Call charges take effect once your customer is connected to the telephone number he has dialed i.e. once the call has been answered. If there is no answer or the line is engaged you will not be charged for the call.

Can I send Text (SMS) messages with BudgetSip?^ top

Yes you can, in your My-account you can find a SMS-tool.
